Pros

Work a home, but the cons essentially nullify this single pro.

Cons

After getting through being trained on the Classic platform and about six months in, you are forced to learn and administer the RA platform, which is an immense amount of information without an increase in pay. Then a short time from there you are forced to learn and administer the V5 platform, which is not only dated but consists of 85% disgruntled members due to the incompetent and dated systems used especially the use of members cards. In short, the V5 platform should be retention because you are constantly apologizing to disgruntled members for the consistent issues with cards and account accessibility. Shortly after being forced to learn and administer the V5 platform, you are also forced to learn and administer the Commuter platform, again without any other additional compensation. You will be expected to do what you were initially only told when hired that you would be doing, which is the Classic platform and all of those responsibilities plus all the other platforms and administer them without one increase in pay. Just be warned if you are looking into working here that HealthEquity will exploit you as an employee to maximize their profits while minimizing your rate of pay as you learn all the various platforms you are forced to learn and administer without one cent increase in your rate of pay. And on a side note, some of the younger supervisors provide misinformation that I have had to correct on several occasions and if they don't or won't assist you with an issue, you will be told to call someone else for help. In addition, supervisor inspiration lacks prestige and is pathetic, and lamentable at best.

Pros

Great relationships with my agile leaders and other scrum masters, opportunities for performance bonuses twice a year as well as profit sharing, great work life balance and opportunity to work remotely. Great efforts for diversity and inclusion throughout the year and consistent opportunities to discuss and plan for career growth.

Cons

The unexpected layoffs were a let down but it can happen in any industry at any company. The generous severance pay and help with insurance over a year later speaks for itself-- they're a great employer.

Thanks for leaving us a review! We are so glad to hear that you had great relationships with your leaders and were able to take advantage of a healthy work life balance. HealthEquity began a technology transformation that has unfortunately necessitated reductions in force in our Technology Department that helped us realign our skill strategy with our future-state vision. Those decisions were made carefully, applying specific business criteria, by the appropriate senior leaders. We wish you the best of luck in the future and are grateful for your contributions!

Pros

Room for growth, decent pay (in TX), cool leadership and teammates. I loved my jobs with this company. Managed to get promoted twice in a year.

Cons

Liars. This is my only cons listed because I lost my job here at a time when I was literally going through it. They told unemployment that I did something I didn’t do and it hurts because I gave the company my all for them to lie on me so they wouldn’t have to pay me. Worked for them for 3 years. I left it alone because I got a better job but I will never forget because I’ve always been honest and I was one of the top performers within the company. I won’t deny I’m bitter but that’s due to the defamation of character.
