Bullying, rude employees, gossip, i employees run management

Leadership: multiple levels of bureaucracy, individual departments leaders don't have as much power as you would think, as they need to align with the enterprise. Decisions and changes can be slow because of this. Pay: could be better. I would say it is a bit better than average for early career, but honestly still needs to be higher given the education, cost to income ratio, productivity, etc. Con Ed benefits: very average to low-average, but somewhat flexible. PTO: can be a hassle to take PTO as they don't want to have people out of the office, even for outpatient. Professional practice: evidence-based and there are people who evaluate the evidence and guidelines to keep up. Fairly independent practice, still some work to be done on direct access and independence, but in practice, other providers are great to work with.
