Cons

Consistently an unsupportive environment for women, by underpaying and overworking them compared to their male counterparts especially in technical roles False culture of inclusivity and diversity, mostly just virtue signaling Rampant burnout and general feelings of employee unappreciation

Pros

Helion is an extremely supportive work environment. I feel empowered to speak up when I need help and I am provided with resources and education to be able to improve on my daily deliverables for my role as well as level up in my career. The work-life balance is excellent. I am treated like a human here and not like a number on a list. Helion constantly seeks ways to improve life here for everyone.

Cons

Helion is a dynamic workplace. Things change here rapidly and I often feel outside of my comfort zone, but it has helped me learn to adapt to a variety of challenges and I am never bored.

Pros

Helion Energy is pursuing cutting-edge technology that will positively impact the future of humanity. The mission is inspirational and all employees have a desire to bring fusion energy to the grid within this decade. Leadership is successfully balancing forward progress with work-life balance and the company is attempting to recruit employees for long-term employment. This means they go to efforts to make it a great place to work and attempt to prevent burn-out. The holiday and PTO plan are very good. Overall employee benefits are extraordinary.

Cons

The company is rapidly expanding and its culture is still developing. Additionally, technological risks do exist that the company is actively working to mitigate.
