The vacation package was decent

Where to start? This company got voted one of the worst company's to work for in the country for a reason. They treat their employee's poorly and can careless about their well-being. It certainly showed during Hurricane Sandy when the employee's were told to show up for work, or risk losing a vacation day! Salaries are below the market average, and if you think this is an 8-hour job, you have another thing coming.

Pros

I am laughing at the most recent reviews. I'm pretty sure 90% of them are fake. When I left Hertz in March, Glassdoor named it one of the worst companies to work for. Somehow their ratings jumped from ~2.4 to a 3.2 in 6 months? HILARIOUS. Anyway... -Weekly pay -Huge discounts on rentals and LDW -Cool people...my manager was awesome

Cons

-Long hours -No Lunch break -Horrible pay -Career opportunities -Absurd sales goals/pressure -A tie. Really? Just stay away unless you really need a job. It did open a door for me elsewhere, which opened another but it was a miserable place to work. I was stressed all the time, depressed for the last 3 months I worked there and gained 30lbs in the 8 months. Don't do it.
