Pros

Love the leadership team. The people and culture is incredible. Great balance. There are no post code territory assignments, inbound leads. Hybrid work. Leadership team is balanced, thoughtful. Very human in the approach to work. The value of bring me win as we and they sell as a village. I really think you get back what you put in. If you put in work ethic and show up the leadership tea

Cons

None - beyond standard scale up but even then they have the resource of a big company but the start up and cultural engagement.

Low-pay strategy

Leadership direction, hybrid work model.

Cons

Stingy and infrequent raises, low vacation days, base salaries, slow and tedious processes, mediocre product, lack of work-life balance with long expected working hours to cover tasks due to low headcount.

Pros

Good solid core product, great sales and customer success teams, lots of very talented hard working people that are a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Anything beyond core product is distinctly average and not well thought through the latest Learning product is missing some critical functionality that is needed if HiBob wants to address the Enterprise market. The real issue is however there are lots of people in management positions that do not have a clue what they are doing. The blind leading the blind is bad but the blind leading people with vast amounts of experience and great ideas is worse. Secondly teams in customer success are put under too much pressure to perform without the right support and enablement, there is also way too much ambiguity in this company, ok you are a scale up however you should have basics already worked out. The fact that your leadership team can’t see these problems and the affect they are having on people is bad.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear this has been your experience as this is not the environment that we strive for. To your points on our leadership team, we invest a lot into our managers as we know this is crucial for our growth and also it is crucial to be able to support all our Bobbers. This has included having off-site leadership training workshops for all new people managers in the business, a regular leaders forum plus ongoing training on cultural safety, leadership style and on having leadership conversations. This is ongoing as we appreciate that leadership isn’t a tick and done exercise. We take feedback from all our Bobbers very seriously. This included x3 surveys which we use to create real & meaningful actions to improve ways of working for all Bobbers.
