Great Place To Work

Pros

This is an awesome place to work. The managers are good people. I've seen my share of what many people consider a bad manager. The employees are great people they come to work do their job and go home. People actually volunteer to do overtime because its so laid back. Hour lunches , guaranteed 40 hours per week. They are willing to train if you are ready to learn. Thy also have to keep a certain amount of people due to tax credits so it takes a lot to get fired. Give away every month just for doing your job. You receive recognition for being your self and doing the bare minimum so it will motivate you to do more. Set time off. Everybody gets paid 12.00 per hour.

Cons

If you are a smoker you have to walk across the parking lot every break no smoking in cars because major people come up here like Nike Adidas Puma and they don't like the look.

Pros

Working with the public, getting to know co workers.

Cons

Very low pay; almost impossible to get raises; outdated training and too many tests to take for a retail job; slow computer system; poor merchandising directives; higher ups don't really listen to complaints and do nothing about problems in their stores. I had to quit because of a management change and I made the DSM aware of issues but was basically then thrown under the bus. Just wasn't a friendly place to work any longer. Manager wasn't willing to work with schedules, they were made to revolve around the manager and everyone else came last.
