Pros

After I figured out their way of doing things I actually enjoyed the job. Discount was nice sometimes on already reduced merchandise.

Cons

Tried to sue me after I left for competitor who offered me $7000 more per year to start saying I signed a "Non-compete" agreement. Sent a threat letter but in the end did nothing. It would have taken me 14 years working at Hibbett to get that raise what did they expect?? Pay your people properly and then you won't have to worry about stuff like this.

Pros

Easy work, air conditioned. When I interviewed for the job, my boss actually said, "a monkey could do it."

Cons

Management is completely unreasonable, the pay is depressing, yet they want store managers to work as if it is not. If you are a store manager, there is nobody to replace you in the event of an emergency. I had to take a sick child to work once

Great co-workers and team members, but upper management could care less about loyalty and hard work.

Pros

Good discount, great co-workers, learning is hands on, things are good and the atmosphere is relaxed when sales are up. But when sales are down, it's a different story.

Cons

It doesn't matter how loyal and hard working you are, They will let go of anyone for pity reasons without warning or coaching. Many good people are kicked to the curb while people who really doesn't care or even try, are given opportunity after opportunity just because they know someone. When sales are down, upper management will blame others instead of looking in the mirror and take blame.
