Pros

I've worked with Highmark for about 2 months, and have never been happier in a work environment. I left my previous company for an amazing opportunity that was offered to me by Highmark and have never been more excited and happy to come to work everyday. They treat their employees like family and have wonderful holiday parties, great benefits, and awesome bonuses. I brag about this company to everyone!

Cons

Truly, I have not had a bad or questionable experience. I'm always able to find the help and resources when i need it.

Pros

-Friendly and helpful staff site wide and at the corporate office. -Training classes both online and in person- Learn new things and makes me a better employee -Bonus compensation

Cons

-I wish we did more with other properties so we can meet other LS, LMs, ACDs, CDs and RMs. That way, when positions become available and we are up for promotion, relationships are somewhat made -Work/Life Balance / Benefit package - Since I had my son 5 months ago, I wish I was given more time off than the 6 weeks under short term disability. If I didn't save up my sick and vacation time, I would have gone an additional 6 weeks without pay which is very hard to do. -I'm sure Highmark isn't the only property that does this, but I do know a couple properties that pay their leasing team a full 8 hour day on Sundays rather than the 4 hours. I work every weekend and am having to come in early, leave late or take short lunch breaks during the week just to make up the 4 hours I lose on Sunday.

Cons

Within the last few years there has been extreme growth within the company but employees rarely see additional perks offered.
