Pros

Insurance. Air conditioning. Little overtime.

Cons

No opportunities for advancement. Ppm= p**s poor management. Back stabbing management. Open door policy really means shut door policy. Low morale. Low or no bonuses. Very small pay in raises usually less than 1.5% which is well below the inflation rate.

Pros

Global company and well known brand.

Cons

No work-life balance. Always working and working with different time zones. Meetings frequently scheduled at 5 or 6 p.m. that lasted 1 to 2 hours or more. Meetings at midnight and 2 a.m. or 3 a.m. The manager didn't deal with issues or manage ... marking time until retirement. Japan team members not open to change and not supportive of non-US colleagues. HR not helpful or supportive and don't hold managers accountable for managing/leading.
