      Pros

      Good pay and benefits. People at the company all work together really well. Good place to gain valuable work experience.

      Cons

      Hard to move up in the company. Forces people to leave once they've gained experience. Can work more on developing future leaders of the company in the bottom rungs.

      Pros

      Really great people to work with. Most day to day is routine, but there are a few "emergencies" now and then to make things interesting.

      Cons

      I have been with Hitachi as an engineer for a total of 18 years. When I first started, it was a really good place to work. Now, it is very management heavy and upper management tends to micromanage way to much. To me, that implies that they either don't trust the lower management, or they dont have anything better to do with their time but to hold meetings.
