There’s a Starbucks in the cafeteria Very political

Cons

Some RN’s treat their PCAs as if they’re the dumbest human to ever walk in the hospital. They can’t even get water for the patients, they absolutely have to have the PCA do all the work while they sit in the nurse’s station. Some RNs (specifically the white ones) have the worse attitude. They all run the nurse’s station and glued to their butts at the station. If you like to chart a lot, expect to do that here while you’re also taking care of 9 other patients, even though some are independent, you still have to walk them to the bathroom. Patients are very demanding and arrogant.

Taking the "Care" out of healthcare

Pros

Lots of money to blow and they blow it well. Nice location. Used to be a family style employer but no more. Bonuses if you can handle the games.

Cons

Horrible backstabbing leadership. Place is a revolving door of unhappy employees. Managers are afraid to lead. Too many strong arm managers over reacting. Lots of employee mistreatment. Very uninspiring place to work.

The people on my team are very kind

Cons

Very much a butt in the seat work environment. Not open to offering hybrid work schedules. Attire is business professional 5 days a week. Lots of doors are closed throughout the day. Salaries are not competitive whatsoever for the non-clinical roles which will make it very hard to stay long term especially with the cost of living sky rocketing in OC, not to mention the cost of gas to drive to and from work Mon-Fri.
