Pros

The hours are flexible, so I was able to work around my schedule. The work is tedious at times, but it was never too difficult.

Cons

Cashiers have to type product prices and discounts in manually, so you have to know the weekly ads inside and out. You have to check the ad frequently, which makes transaction times and lines longer. Customers who have been burned before by an overlooked discount are on edge and watch the cashier very closely.

Good company, bad experience

Pros

Values and culture, merchandise, hourly pay, great ownership

Cons

Because of payroll, Mgmt ends up doing free labor. Long hours and low pay. Company boast of family time, I didn't have any. Hourly employees get 1.00 raises every yr. Management held to nothing. Mgmt salary counts on stores payroll, should be exempt, that is a non-controllable.
