Pros

You're always surrounded by lovely content, imagery and interesting cool products.

Cons

They don't hire a lot of smart people. Very conservative environment. They force Christianity into the workplace. The corporate campus is ugly, sad and doesn't offer the kind of benefits you'd expect from such a successful company. No flex time or the ability to work from home. Information is kept close to the vest and not shared with the people doing the work on the ground. Pretends to be a "family-friendly" workplace but they do not offer childcare on site and there is no flexibility in schedule. Only 1 day off for holidays and other vacation and PPTO is lower than industry standard.

Part-Timers Beware

Pros

Good Pay Off Sundays Full timers get great benefits

Cons

If you are a part time employee, unless you only want to be a part time cashier chances are management will take advantage of you. Part timers make 5 dollars and 20 cents less than full timers, and yet often work similar hours and do the exact same job. Over time this company has cut payroll more and more and expects all the part timers to do the same job as full timers for less pay. Management varies wildly and is often unproffessional and untrained, moving up from a cashier in sometimes less than a year. Full time positions are hard to come by and are extremely competive slots and coworkers will often do anything to put themselves above you in the position.

Pros

I have a 20 word limit so I have to write something here so here goes : Sunday’s off and higher than average pay.

Cons

After working for this company for a little over two years I no longer have any respect for them. The culture inside the store is toxic. District managers put way too much pressure on store managers about pay roll leaving the store CONSTANTLY understaffed. The Green family cares way too much about the bottom line. Corporate clearly has no idea what it’s like to actually make the store run. They tell you to put customers first but give you way too much work for that to be possible. If truck wasn’t done nobody would be able to go home. They do not respect your personal life and feel like because they pay higher than normal they own you. They are not pro life. They’re ant-abortion. If they were pro life they would offer at least some kind of maternity leave. Instead it is absolutely nothing. A friend of mine who was 8 months pregnant wasn’t allowed to take her breaks because it was too busy one Saturday. They promoted someone to manager to get them away from customers (oh yeah it’s as dumb as it sounds ). Even if a manager gets constant customer service complaints they won’t get rid of them.
