Pros

Guaranteed day off every Sunday. The only reason this a Pro is because the company has no structured company schedules. It is up to the store manager on how they schedule each employee.

Cons

No visible and none visible leadership. All employees report to the store manager even though the store a co-manager and 2 assistant managers. The other 3 managers are treated as every other employee. The company has no structured training programs for the employees for safety, register, unloading and stocking truck processes and all store processes. Unless your store has a tenured employee who is willing to train employees you will be lost. Every decision is made depending on who is the highest ranking employee in the store at the time. Overall the company doesn’t care for its employee.

Pros

Off on Sunday end of year bonus no holiday hours close at 8pm pay

Cons

The work load can be a lot. Upper management comes in and if they see something that they don’t like you have to change it immediately. Not enough employees to handle work load and tasks that are given.

Pros

Good pay 68k before leaving. Sunday’s off. Great company philosophy. Diane Bradley, pastoral ministry director, wonderful person. Some DM’s have incorporated David Greens work philosophy.

Cons

Other DM’s do not reflect David Greens philosophy. Long hours. Not always realistic for modular relays completion w/o OT. Hiring the right staff is important. Does not give cost of of living differential for relocating to higher cost of living states. Consider the states before you tell them you would relocate to. Large furniture and Christmas on the high wall up/down 25ft ladders. Unload trucks on Sundays during Thanksgiving and Christmas. When acquiring a short term physical disability and needing surgery and have complications you are all of sudden a hardship to the company. Lack loyalty for all your hard work and long hours.
