Pros

-portfolio and connections -Lots of responsibility early on

Cons

-ABSOLUTELY no worklife balance -Minimum of 50hrs a week -Only 3 career paths -Educated talent and MEP minded people are treated as second class -The culture is to yell until a sub does what you want. You will find yourself turning into a hateful and spiteful person outside of work. -Drinking culture. So many 'team building' events that just turn into drunk nights where even managers are driving home drunk

We apologize if you had anything but a positive experience during your time at Holder and cultural foundations of the company were not communicated or witnessed. If you were able to attend the New Associate Forum during your first 6 months of employment, we address the numerous career path options within all Holder’s departments, the family-like culture, and how to successfully begin your career at Holder – including your development and work life balance with your manager. We acknowledge the long hours many projects require to deliver strong results to our clients. Our focus is always the quality of work produced, not the number of hours it took to do the work. We value and support the work-life balance and offer Paid Time Off necessary to keep our associates happy and healthy, and performing their best. Based on your review, it sounds like the company’s commitment to culture was not reflected during your time. We do not take your comments lightly and will address it internally.

Pros

Lots of projects across the country Big company so lots to learn

Cons

Salary is below industry average for same positions If you don’t fit the “type” you won’t get put into positions to grow. Managers tend to focus on certain individuals and if they focused on the people that actually wanted to grow they may retain more people.

Thank you for your feedback. We never aim to make associates to feel underappreciated or excluded as a certain “type,” and we apologize if you experienced this. Our goal is to ensure a fair opportunity for all associates to succeed and experience growth. In the spirit of developing each other, one of our cultural attributes, we encourage managers to give and associates to actively seek out feedback. Our salaries and additional compensation opportunities remain competitive in the current market, and we are always considering inflation and cost of living.
