Pros

The people are nice. If you are into long long hours and challenging work this is the place for you. Some nice projects. Working with the best of the best clients in the industry

Cons

Definetly one of the worst job experiences if you are one of those people who enjoy life then this is not the place for you. The culture promotes working long hours when it's not necessary everyone competing to see who will stay the latest daily. Not a place for minority's or diversity as most of the hires are usually all the same Caucasian. They try to make you work weekends regularly with no additional compensation. Too often would see people working 12-14 hour shifts when you realize all the hours your working usually 60-70 hours a week you realize that you are not getting adequate pay. Overloaded and understaffed at projects constantly. People quit constantly and instead of replacing they simply pass the work to a current employee and overload them even more. No respect shown on job sites to the subcontractors and culture has turned into blaming the subcontractors for everything even when that's not the real reason. Lack of leadership and power complex seems to be happening. There is no person of color in leadership position as a minority you will not grow here. The grass truly is greener go somewhere else and get payed more money and actually work less hours and actually enjoy being human and having a life. Too often I saw people try and use PTO and even when on PTO constantly still getting calls and emails to do work. The environment is toxic too much bickering goes on internally between employees rather than working together turns into a blame game as Holder tends to not want to take on responsibility for mistakes

Thank you for leaving a review! We take pride in collaborating with best-in-class clients, partners, and subcontractors across the country. Holder recognizes the stress that’s inherent to the construction industry, especially on some of Holder’s larger-scale projects. We strive to equip our associates with time management training and tools and instill confidence that they can ask for help when workload becomes too heavy.
