      They are prejudice against anyone who they feel or think has a lack of education. They like to hire minorities because it makes them superior.

      Good pay, very nice clients

      Cons

      No benefits, Sucky management, they don’t give you the hours you ask for, they treat the clients like absolute garbage, and they expect the caregivers not to talk to each other (even if you are the one to recommend a friend to work there.)

      You have the opportunity to greatly improve quality of life for aging adults while removing the burden of caretaking from the shoulders of family and friends. High potential for a rewarding career under competent leadership.

      Cons

      Management is everything. I was hired and mentored by an amazing owner who empowered me to grow the business. I must have done a too good of job growing our client hours by nearly 20% in less than a year which allowed the owner to sell to a new multi-franchise group. Unfortunately the leadership and acquisition plan under the new owner was non-existent. The new hyper controlling management environment destroyed the culture we had built and the remote management took all the personal touch out of a business with 20 years of history in this community. They are building a good machine, but will not have the personal impact on clients and their employees.
