Pros

Most of the clients are super sweet.

Cons

It is an LLC so I can’t speak for the corporate company, but the local area company I worked for was highly unorganized. The owners are not concerned with a work/life balance and on numerous occasions allowed employees to be bullied by some clients. You’re not given proper training for your position and despite being told to ask questions, when you do, you never actually get an answer to how they want things.

Pros

Professional, flexible hours, overnight and day shifts. Attentive office staff. Can wear street clothes (within dresscode) which makes work feel like real life!

Cons

Low pay :/ (just the nature of caretaking. Most people aren't in it for the money.

Pros

Hours are available to work at different times throughout the day

Cons

Pay is still low. Everyone in the world is making more money these days and we are still just a dollar or 2 from minimum wage. The most I’ve been paid for a regular ongoing job is about $13 and that’s only because I’m caring for 2 people (husband and wife). They are constantly calling you from the office to pick up extra shifts but rarely offer incentives. It’s not fair that they are willing to give an incentive to the someone that they need at the last minute but not to someone who is offering to work more. Seems like we have to work all day and night to bring in a good check to help our families.
