Pros

I am not able to think of any other comment other than my meagre salary was paid on time and there was Starbucks available onsite with a great restaurant.

Cons

Bullying culture Management/HR do not listen to employee concerns & are not supportive Processes are in place but are completely disregarded Old boys network Lack of direction from senior management in some business areas Management are resistant to change and innovation If you have new ideas & prepared to challenge the old way, watch your back Senior management are allowed to get away with bad behaviour No direction from senior management Old boys network and if you are not part of it, you're made to suffer Lots who talk the talk but dont deliver

Could be better

Pros

Benefits are good and you are treated like an adult if you are in the right role (not call centre staff)

Cons

They say they give equal advancement opportunities, however the opportunities are given to those who are the managers favourite! The longer I work for them the more I get tired of getting knocked back every time I try to forge ahead in my career; it would be slightly better if I actually got some help after being rejected, but its always promised and never delivered.

Pros

-People within teams get on

Cons

-Double standards from mangement, alot of ‘favourites’ get away with stuff in front of management. However if your not a favourite you get picked up on it without hesitation. E.g in company policies and processes -Lack of communication between agents and management -Very low morale for alot of employees in general

Thank you for taking the time to post a comment. Our policies apply to all HomeServe employees, if you think this isn’t the case I’d appreciate it if you could speak with either myself or another senior member of staff. It does sound from your comments as though you may have an issue with an individual manager? I’d suggest speaking to one of the Operations Managers about this, alternatively, please feel free to book in some time with me. Employee morale is something we really care about and is a priority for us. We have recently invested a significant amount of money to make the facilities at Banbury better and I have also been delivering action planning sessions to build upon the feedback we have already received. I’d really like the opportunity to talk to you about some of the things we perhaps haven’t gotten quite right, and how we can make this better. Please do book some time in for a one-to-one.
