If you like a fast paced organisation that has ambitious plans then this is the place for you

Cons

If you don't get on well with ambiguity then HomeServe can be a difficult place to work

Pros

The great this about HomeServe is the opportunities is gives its staff. From Marketing, IT, Finance there's no place a call centre handler cannot go if they put the work in. HomeServe likes to promote from within and thats clearly evident when you see the amount of middle management that were once on the phones. There are some great technology changes over the next year or so that are going to change the company and make it an even better place to work.

Cons

Some of the offices in Walsall could so with updating to meet the standards of the newly refurbished offices in Nottingham & Preston.

Thanks for your review, we absolutely want to ensure that our People have the ability and opportunity to move around the company and build their careers with us. We have an open and transparent pay and grading structure as well as a really clear career progression framework that allows everyone to see the skills and capabilities needed for each role. It's all there for you to go out and grab it! On your second point, we have plenty of channels of communications that we use to make sure our People know where we're heading, hopefully you attended a Big Rock day earlier this year so will know about our critical priorities but we also have Yammer, my GBU and the Big Red Sofa, all of which help keep us updated on where we are and where we're going.
