Pros

After only being at homeserve for a short number of weeks, I have found the past weeks very informative whilst in training. I feel that the companies cares for your well being and are always happy to help employee's no matter how big or small the problem is. All the staff are very friendly and on a daily basis go out their way to make sure your having a good day.

Cons

The only con that I have.. Is the facilties within the Ryder Building such as the canteen and break out area. The canteen is very small as there is not alot of space to sit and eat and the range of different foods are very limited, compaired to the cateen in the main building.

Pros

HomeServe had some trouble in the past but instead of denying the issues they rebuilt the company better than ever. The People (staff) are the business now and they are fully empowered to look after the Customers. It is now a very special place to work where everyone understands the long term strategy and their part in it.

Cons

There are no downsides other than it is difficult to wait for all the systems development to finish.

Pros

+ Great opportunities to progress and move around the business for exposure to different roles + Fun environment without pressure to join in if you don't want to

Cons

- Work life balance is relative but it's tough at times - Development is all focussed on the front line customer facing staff /Senior team at the detriment of junior support staff but for people who own their own development and network you make your own opportunities.
