So much is wrong with this company I will try to highlight the most relevant.
Interviews: They call it exploratory, but they have no clue what they want so they are pretty much winging it. I was interviewed by 6 people individually one of which was the Owner, who also had no clue; which makes sense since her background is being a chef. The recruiter was very vague about the benefits and i was totally surprised by the lack of benefits or how costly it was when I started. Beware of the confidentiality agreement since the likelihood of you staying with the organization is slim. Try to renegotiate the terms if possible.
High Turnover: don't bother getting to know anyone since they probably won't be there the following month. I've heard from several employees it is their business plan to use talented people to help fix infrastructures and business processes, and then get rid of them every 6 months.
Upper management: Majority has no experience and for those that do are frustrated with the environment and the other staff members which are clueless. They also have no integrity and will lie about the department financial numbers to make the business seem as if it is thriving but it isn't. Possibly because they are still private. Unprofessional. They have no respect for ppl time and hard work.
Co-workers- I met a lot of nice people. However, my overall take is that once you have been here for a while no one wants to work. It is tough getting answers and nothing is documented, no processes, no department budget, no leadership, so it seems that it is easier to figure it out yourself. Everything is outdated. Oh, and funny enough I know a few ppl there that spend their days watching Netflix. As for the sales team, they are an interesting group.
Environment: The building is located in a bad area. No security. Do not stay late if you are a woman. The restrooms are not stocked so you will have to bring your own. Lizards in and outside the building. Overall, it is dirty.
