The coding managers at the CBO are rarely there for questions, concerns or help. They are constantly in meetings and only come around when were being scolded. They do not allow you to go to coding related conferences anymore since the billing became centralized. Not everyone gets an Encoder, I had mine for over a year and then they decided not to renew it. Overwork is a serious problem, and is unaddressed even if you bring it up. My salary is competitive for the area, but when distributed over the hours I work, calculates out to less than minimum wage. I was mocked when I brought it up. Pushing employees to work senselessly long hours is common. * Little to no diversity in my department, which only hires and retains chinese men. * Onboarding timeline makes a smooth departure very difficult.
