Pros

Good 401k matching, strong safety culture.

Cons

Frequent reorganizations, leading to confused help chains, overwork, and poor morale. Pay and leave structure isn't especially competitive anymore.

Pros

Room for growth and learning and good for gaining experience.

Cons

-Really bad turnover. -Overworked employees which translate to snappy attitude and because there are always overwhelming urgent tasks now, issues are kicked down the road up until they can no longer be ignored and by that time, pressure has built up and it's more difficult to solve the problem or concern. -Very few mid-tenure workers. Either have long-tenured employees who are set on their ways, "know what they are doing" and that they are "experts with years of experience". Feedback/inquiry about outcomes/processes are almost always met with pushback "why are you asking?", "that's not your job" and "leave it to the experts". -If you don't encounter the long-tenured employees, you will have the very new inexperienced guys who most of the time are not given proper training and have poor onboarding. Majority have to figure out the job on their own. -It is still a very hierachical company which personalities seem to matter more than ideas.

Pros

4O1K is above average as you get 9% match

Cons

HR knows about the upper management screaming, yelling, retaliation, making threats, and physical contact. HR is covering up a lot of sins and the company is loosing a lot of good people. HR may tell you they pay a cost of living, they do not. They may tell you engineers get bonuses every year, on truth they pay out one bonus every 2 to three years. Get everything HR tells you in writing, please trust me on this one thing if anything. Also be very careful how they word their statement. Base pay for an engineer with no experience is 72K to 74K. You will be forced to get your 6 Sigma and you will not be payer extra for it. You can usually make $84K with your 6 Sigma certificate. Pay is low for the working condition and you will most likely be working weekends and Holidays even if HR states you will not be. Females will have it worse as the management is perfected from HR. We have had more than a few leave and let HR know what is going on as well as people complaining to the hot line with HR only sweeping the issue under the rug. If you are going into management you will be golden as you can yell, belittle, and make sexual comments to your staff thanks to HR. The vacation package is far below average and you can not even buy a week. The union is also unhappy and they have the power to slow and even damage your parts you are in charge of getting out which will cause upper management to come after you for.
