Pros

No pros, actually nothing pros

Cons

If you are software engineer, do not come to this company, even do you apply, this place is a place you will be far away from the new technology, could you imagine, nowadays, people are mostly using git for version control, and this company still used IBM clearcase for the version control system? You will be handle those 90s stuff and struggle every single day for clearcase checkin, checkout.... when I was here, everyday the word come to my mind is "WTF is this", the tech stack is pretty old, the service and the industry is also outdates. This company like to hire international students to work for them, and because those international students are in the OPT, and need H1B sponsorship, this company lower their whole package and take advantage of the lack of H1 visa for those new hires, do not come to this place honestly. Even if you got an offer, please do not come, just do more leetcode problems, practice your system design, and go to Google, Facebook, uber.... Do not come to this place. Nealy 85% of young engineers in this company want to leave every single day. No growth, no work life balance. All you do is boring meeting, ton of tedious works, and cleartool checkin checkout every single day, and ask you self "why I am still here"......lol, could you imagine you start training 4 months after you joined the company? And if the old/outdated upper management do not like you, they would just PIP you, and use that money to hire other people that need OPT /h1b sponsorship.

Pros

Salaries are competitive, and the company offers some other nice financial benefits such as a discount on company stock. The company is stable and profitable and there is certainly something to be said for that. So it's safe to say your job will be secure and you will get a merit increase every year as long as your performance is good. I've heard that most people who work in the Germantown main campus are happy.

Cons

The 401K match and vesting schedule is not competitive. Full-time employees don't get enough PTO. The stress level in the Gaithersburg manufacturing facility is very high and blame-shifting amongst various departments is rampant. Leadership is stuck in the past and believes in working harder, not smarter. They perpetuate the idea that Millennials have poor work ethic. Most employees have old tower computers instead of laptops which is intentional so that no one has the flexibility to work from home. The company does not offer paid parental leave.

Pros

Tuition reimbursement. Percipio courses for self improvement.

Cons

Mandatory on site work, no flexibility. Mandatory 1 hr lunch, meaning you have to stay 1 hr later than you normally would (9-6). No remote work. Badge reader tracks arrival time, and if you arrive after 9, your supervisor is notified.
