Pros

They hire anyone to work there knowing that by the your retention bonus come up you get the 1on1 conference. When they tell your numbers aren’t good enough.

Cons

Too many chiefs no Indians have those that are supposed to do the job they are hired for get away without doing it because they kiss up to the right people. There so much politics it’s more like a kindergarten playground. They only care about the numbers. Even the high hitting producers take the unethical short cuts and don’t care who notices it. They cherry pick assignments for themselves and never are corrected for it. All these things drive up the numbers which Humana is only concerned not accurate and professional work ethics. We’ll it’s big business PHarma what else can you expect. The schedule is horrible and they often require you to work mandatory overtime. The work areas are dirty and disorganized. I mean dirt and soot from all those machines that have going constantly. There is a definite toxic smell in various places in the working areas. Causing headaches and nausea it gets that bad. Training is half assed and your penalty is low reviews what they get around to you. By that time it seems to late to fix the problem. They set you up for failure. The associates with many years on the job give no guidance or help it’s like they enjoy watching the new people struggling. Humana is not a kind place to work. Your team members will leave you off to another project and your left not knowing what’s going on. I seen this happen many times. What they are called out on it nobody has anything to say.

Pros

Good benefits, good trainers when in training classes. The job is to assist Medicare recipients so you feel like you are helping those elderly who really need guidance to there medical options.

Cons

After training you are thrown in to the wolves and their is not a lot of assistance to help you. The managers also get on your case of how long you are the phone and you practically just started and getting the hang of it. This can be come highly stressful.
