Pros

Work at home setting, decent pay, adequate benefits.

Cons

No balance at all as far as home/ life. Work assignments far exceed ones' abilities unless you don't mind sacrificing your mental and physical health. Corporate management does not care at all about the well-being of those that are working the hardest. No bonuses when everyone is aware that upper management receives annual bonuses. Emphasis is always on the negative. Uncertainty for the future with the coming merger.

Pros

The one and only reason to consider this glorified telemarketing job is because you can work from home. Salary is competitive. They allow insurance coverage on same sex couples and domestic partners as well as their dependents.

Cons

Coaches (managers) make their own rules. If you end up with a terrible coach you can be severely micromanaged . Ex) having to explain what you're doing every 10 minutes you're not on the phone, even though documentation can take upwards of 25-30 minutes. Little to no support. Poor training. You will be thrown to the wolves. Health insurance benefits are the absolute worst I've ever had. High deductible plans and very little contribution from Humana to hsa- up to $400/year. Must meet quota each day which is very stressful. If you don't meet your quota you are expected to work until you meet it without extra compensation. If you get double your quota it counts for nothing. You are expected to "hunt down" members who supposedly agreed to the program. If they tell you they are not interested you are expected to rebuttal and call them again anyway. If they stop answering your calls, you harass them until they pick up- OR- call their physicians office to get an alternate number. It's literally embarrassing.

Pros

Great work environment, supervisors are really supportive and helpful. Work from home, overall easy job. Lots if support and great employees. The compamy as a whole has great programs. They encourage individuals personal growth. I simply LOVE my job!!

Cons

Insurance benefits aren't the best, but still pretty good. They are now merging with Aetna, so that could possibly mean serious changes down the road
