Pros

The yearly bonus is a nice addition

Cons

The job requires you to perform community service or volunteer to meet a certain number of hours. After business hours you are often required to go to team dinners which could easily be held over lunch during the day. The management will always look for someone to blame when problems occur. The team is very "CYA" and employees do not sync well as a team

Pros

PTO is good compared to a few other banks Downtown for lunch breaks 1 WFH day A paycheck (if it’s worth the headaches & frustration you’re about to have)

Cons

Think of being in a space with people who fuel a toxic work culture knowingly, but somehow complain about the fire as though they weren’t the ones to strike the match and keep it burning. And there you are- you don’t care about to fire to begin with you just want to make a paycheck and go home. Such cold, eerie, and unwelcoming energy. Dysfunctional and narcissistic. The team is led by 0 direction, barely any communication with management, horribly negligent and sabotaging. Non-confrontational management - a ghost who makes a paycheck and gets away with it. Upper management knew of the dysfunction by previous hires- nothing happened and continuously was aware of high turnover. Like a snake eating its own tail. It was so insanely toxic. No clear answers on anything, no clarity on job responsibilities for different job titles, management casted off job duties to people just to not deal with it, no training plan developed for new colleagues- and if you got “better training” than other coworkers, meaning you caught on quickly- get ready for workplace sabotage and harassment. Instead of minding their business, working, and going home, they got pleasure in trying to knock you down. Full grown adults by the way. Just immature and miserable environment to endure. People were always in secret competition of others because of the queue metrics that it created this survival mentality in fear of being fired for mistakes or errors. It was like getting free tickets to a circus and realizing as soon as you sit down that it was gonna end up being a waste of time anyway. And to top it all off, if you drive you’ll have to pay to park. In the 20’s for the connecting garage. And that’s per day. Knowing that all of the tasks are done on a computer and there’s no reason for working in the office. It just all around was terrible lol. Save your sanity and go instead where you are welcomed. A job is a job but your health is more important

Pros

This is one of those positions where you get what you put in. I work my tail off, but in return I’ve been rewarded by my manager. I do have some really cool coworkers and most people get along. I have the option to work from home and travel. Lots of room for growth and they just acquired more banks.

Cons

Upper leadership can be a bit passive aggressive. Culture has tanked the last few years. I’ve seen colleagues get wrongfully fired.
