I honestly regret ever working here. Was never so disrespected by an employer (or person) in my life.
Pros
The kids. As a teacher, it was great to sometimes see them learn and grow.
Cons
Literally everything! The management was psychotic and inept. (Like we got PD credits for training, only she wasn't a provider of them in our state for about 5 years previous to my working there. I don't know how this crazy witch is getting away with it) Cared only about the money. You were expected to work extra days/hours with no compensation. Was told I needed to work through my lunch break. Discriminated against based on sex. Random changes in pay, pay scale, commissions, etc. With no warning. No room for growth or promotion. At best, you can have a lateral move that comes with a hefty pay cut. When I had to take some time off for my dad's cancer, the way my boss treated me really went downhill. She kept throwing it in my face (ie do you know how much extra work I have to do? Don't you get how hard this year has been for me?) I can't state this enough, but this company does NOT care. It's a business, and it is all about the money you bring in.
