      Poor Management.

      Pros

      Great people depending on which projects you're assigned too.

      Cons

      Little to no input on the projects you're staffed on. Poor life balance. I was told by a manager to expect 1-1.5 hours of free time each night but I should be working after work until I go to bed. Mass layoffs for the past year leading to understaffing and bringing on new hires who have no idea what they're doing, while letting go of some of the highest performing consultants. Promotions are managed like a boys club. If you know the right managers, you'll get the promotion - regardless of tenure or qualifications.

      Pros

      Benefits and pay was good but thats about it.

      Cons

      They are always hiring but they have 30-40% of their consultants on bench. I myself was on bench for 6 months after I got hired. I was part of their Workday practice and the MDs and Directors dont have a clue on how to run a workday practice. They favor certain employees because they worked with them in previous projects.

      Good benefits, some good people, good way to learn how to be a consultant (at a cost)

      Cons

      This is just a word to the wise. Huron is asking their newer employees who have little to no context to go in and rate them on this site. Because of the lack of experience, this is leading to a ton of 5 star reviews and a high approval rating for the CEO. The reality is they have a dry sales pipeline and have got through three rounds of layoffs in the last year with a potential fourth in the Spring. Don't buy into these high reviews, specifically within the healthcare practice.
