Pros

Good benefits, compensation, bonus.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations for travel. 4 days a week may work for people in their 20's. Most experienced professionals do not want to travel to this extent. No flexibility. Project Managers tend to have temper problems and will launch tirades at you without explanation.

Not a good experience

Pros

You'll be directly in contact with the client and will be running meetings within a few months of starting

Cons

-Multiple layoffs followed by aggressive hiring practices afterwards. They were even trying to rehire back people they had just laid off a few months before. A company should have the foresight to plan for tough months without having to lay off hundreds of people, only to rehire them / hire new graduates who will work for less. - Quality of life depends on the manager you work for and his/her opinions on work life balance. My team was expected to work a full day, take an hour for dinner/workout, then continue to work until midnight. There was also an expectation to work on the weekends. Repeat indefinitely. Burnout was common. On the other hand, you had people sitting on the bench waiting to get staffed, who were getting paid for doing nothing. - Heavy drinking culture- have heard this from colleagues who traveled as well as ones based in the offices. - Huron was billed as a consulting firm with better hours than your typical consulting firm, which was supposed to justify the lower compensation. We were working the same hours as those consulting firms, just without the added pay

Experienced Hires Beware

Recommend

Pros

They hire extremely bright, talented, and assertive young people. Their orientation program is thorough.

Cons

They do NOT value experienced hires. They want you to conform to their way (i.e., become a Stepford Wife). Beware of the micro-management from the Clinical Operations solution. Further, as noted in other reviews, their 13 healthcare solutions are very siloed; there is little collaboration between them.
