Pros

The people are wonderful. Everyone seems to genuinely care about those around them, and they care enough to make sure people are taken care of. The company tries to promote culture to make sure people feel cared for.

Cons

The salary is mediocre, at best, and leadership is very open that they don't have interest in changing that, since the turnover rate is so low. This stretches up to the executives, who have said these words almost verbatim.

Pros

Best company I have had the please of working for. It's a very casual, relaxed atmosphere. Everyone is willing and happy to help you. Paid time off is fantastic. I read a lot of people complaining that there are no sick days, that's true. But you use your vacation days which you get three weeks of in your first year! That's way more than the three sick days I've gotten in previous jobs. Diner is awesome and they cater to any diet. Spin classes, workout center, get your nails done and hair done at work. You see people always bringing their kids to work. They have family friendly events at Hyland and awesome parties a few times a year. At least in my team, you don't see the usual dog eat dog mentality in sales. Everyone is truly invested in the teams success.

Cons

I've heard pay is not quite up to industry standard at hyland. I can only speak towards sales However, hyland will hire you if you don't even know what onbase is. They hire on personality. They will teach you software. Other companies don't do that. Work at hyland for 5 years and you will have your pick of any other software company out there because they love recruiting Hylanders. Why? Because hyland invests in their people. They hire good people and train them very well. I think it's worth noting they do not pay god aweful like some reviewers will have you believe. Negotiate what you're worth, you will have a comfortable pay check and a job that you actually like going into everyday
