Pros

IA recruited me from out of state and paid for my move. They were willing to negotiate the amount of cost that they reimbursed me for.

Cons

They are fundamentally bad at business. They rely almost entirely on one single client. Each office runs like it's own business, which doesn't take advantage of the size that the firm is. There is little to no cross collaboration between locations. The management in Seattle does not do much to win new business, which is a recipe for bad outcomes. There is no vision. But still they are very corporate. It is as if they've embraced all the bad parts of being a large organization and rejected the biggest advantages. Ultimately, the only thing they care about is your billable hours. You will be expendable. One example from my time there was that a person moved to Seattle from Alaska, and within one month of that person's start there were layoffs, including them. One would have to ask why a company would hire anyone if they were about to layoff 20% of the office... they don't know what they are doing. They like to promote that they are employee owned, but in order to benefit from that you have to work there for 5 years. The vast majority don't last longer than 2. The culture rewards people who are not trustworthy. The leadership, particularly in Seattle, lie to staff often. Do yourself a favor and do not apply, and do not consider working here. You have been warned.
