Gaslighting at its finest!

Pros

Comfortable office, fast paced atmosphere, friendly teams, vendor perks

Cons

"eat at your desk" culture, "promotions" which are non-competitive, insulting, and well below industry standard. Very clear that partners skimp on employees for higher bonuses.

Hi, I am so sorry you did not have a good experience at IA. Promotions and bonuses are based in part on team contributions and collaborating well with others. We have an A-player culture that includes mentoring and offering support for all. We truly believe that our culture help grow those talented people, who become long term members of our “best places to work” culture. Thank you for your feedback.

Pros

1. For the most part, extremely nice people. 2. Pretty good work/life balance. 3. Creative group who takes pride in what they do. 4. Client-centric focus. 5. OneIA initiative.

Cons

1. Many long-term senior leaders seem to come from the "if it isn't broken, why fix it?" mentality. This is not a way to outpace the competition in a highly competitive (and commoditized) field. The organization would benefit from truly innovative thinking, disruptors, and strong leadership at all levels. 2. Limited career growth in some areas of the organization. 3. Corporate politics can feel like managing overblown egos even though the company likes to say it is ego free. 4. Less than competitive benefits and mediocre pay. 5. Despite the focus on OneIA, many offices and/or practice groups aren't embracing this - seems territorial and counter productive. 6. Little to no investment in outside training across the organization. 7. Two MD models confuses staff and slows things down because the two leaders are not aligned. Decisions are endlessly debated. Mixed messages sent. Good cop/bad cop atmosphere.
