Very smart technologists and a dedicated staff. IEEE is at the cutting edge of technology advancements, and is making sincere efforts to become a more dynamic organization that responds to needs of industry.

Cons

Can be very difficult to achieve progress in an environment that is governed by academics, especially for new directions. Different units within the Institute do not always communicate.
