New senior leadership....the company has made some really good executive hires lately. Lots of changes since; but the degree if empowerment is high.

Cons

Volunteers have, at times, an astonishlingly condescending view of employees.

Pros

Great benefits, great attitude which allows for a better work/family balance, great location, great progress in making things even better. The pay is good, and the people are friendly.

Cons

It's a medium-sized company, so there is no way to avoid some frustrations in rules and policies, but in comparison to other companies, they do a great job!

Pros

gets an A for effort - they try. Moreover this is a good place to work – if you are lucky enough to get on a good team.

Cons

There is a disparity between expectations and of managers and their staff. Some mangers have staff that are complacent do nothings, while others push their staff, sometimes relentlessly. Many of the manager, both mid level and senior mangers need a management 1010 course, and others are control maniacs. Add in the fact that the board is made up of volunteers adds a level of organizational complexity that slows everything down. It’s a wonder we get any real work done. The good news is that the products and services are of value. So – there is hope?
