Pros

A large company like IKON affords employees the opportunity to learn new job skills and transition easily from one position to another. Any employee with a desire to grow and a willingness to work hard to learn new things will find opportunities for promotion at IKON.

Cons

The only thing constant in the world is change and that is definitely the case now at IKON. With the recently announced acquisition of IKON by supplier Ricoh Corp, it is easy to fee uneasy about the future and what it holds for employees.

Pros

The ability to work from home allows the employee to accomplish more work without interruptions that normally take place in the office.

Cons

Only promotes Senior level people. The ability to work form home has its disadvantages due to the fact you are always able to work 24 hours a day. It is easily able to accumulate 60 or more work hours when this would not be possible if working in an office. This downside makes it seem that you pay is greatly deminished when working these type of hours. I would say the need for additional training is hard to come by for professionals who are nto sales people. When you request training or to attend continuing evening classes your request becomes lost in the shuffle.
