Good company to start your career

Pros

Good benefits. 3 weeks of payed vacation, PTO,12 payed Holidays, good health insurance, dental and vision plan. A lot of overtime for hourly employees.

Cons

Project management, communication between departments, planning - all this not about IPG Photonics. Some departments have production meetings for engineers, group leaders and supervisors at 4PM on Fridays.

Great Bonus for good work. Generous stock options. Excellent work environment. Fair salary. Excellent benefits.

Cons

If you do not like working with Russian engineers and directors who run most of the company, then you should not consider IPG. Personally, I enjoy what I have experienced over the past 2 years.
