Work-life balance was great. Most people were easy to talk to and work with. Technology is robust.
Cons
Management talks from two sides of their face. Great reviews and working multiple roles but only getting paid a single salary, didn’t result in salary increases to even cover inflation. Return to office mandate was a deal-breaker. Started with 1 day per week, but heard that they expect more than that nowadays to keep the company culture. Performance and productivity made no difference, counting heads in-office is what matters, so just expect to show up, and spend a couple of hours per week with water cooler talk. Sales is a clique. If you’re not in that team, you’re not important. If you have an opinion, keep it to yourself and just better off using the experience as a stepping stone. Senior Management is unwilling to make deals. Commission quotas aren’t achievable due to the inability to make concessions, so a lot of money is just left on the table. Insurance benefits used to be paid 100% by ITRS for employees and family, but then they slowly increased it and wouldn’t adjust salaries. Leadership is in London, and they don’t understand that healthcare is expensive in the US. In that same token, they prefer to hire senior leaders from London/UK, and refuse to give that mentality up, perpetuating the cycle of never understanding NY metro culture and salaries.
