Pros

Best game like content for students

Cons

Current executive team is completely disconnected from the needs of the customer. Disappointed when Jonathan G. appointed the co-president model with two people that are not capable of relating with employees let alone customers. The company had great potential to be a leader in the industry but these two are running the company to the ground and Jonathan is blind to what's happening. No diversity in the executive team to understand and relate to both buyers and users. People who lack qualifications have been promoted to positions they should NOT be in. I have never seen HR support an employee when they have been mistreated. Doing what's right rather than what's easy has become a slogan.. the company is not performing according to the values they profess to have. Company won't hire enough professionals to complete any of the product line.

Thank you for you review. We understand the hesitation to jump onboard the “Co-President” bandwagon, but we honestly feel that Co-President brings complementary strengths and valuable perspectives to leading Imagine Learning to the next level as a leading EdTech provider for educators and schools. Our HR team works tirelessly to address concerns and issues as they arise, and I’m disappointed you feel they have not supported you or others you are aware of. Please reach out to our HR team to discuss these circumstances—they would want to hear your feedback. Although we can’t control for each individual action, we believe we have the best employees working for us—employees who want to do what is right to meet the needs of our customers while collaborating as individuals, teams, and departments. We’ve had a lot of change over the past couple of years, which can be difficult to navigate, but we feel incredibly positive about the direction these changes are taking us as a company and we’re glad to have you onboard as we move forward. Thank you again for the candid feedback.

Pros

Helping children and schools succeed is a noble cause. The entire sales/support/operations team are very nice and focused.

Cons

They will let folks (fire you) go for various reasons without cause or remediation. A ”fire, ready, aim” type of place. There seems to be no strategic plan from new leadership. Some history: There was a recent leadership change mid year 2018. A key founder left with the CEO as well. There was also some type of scandal with Chicago Public Schools about the same time (May 2018). Not sure if the two are related, but seems like a coincidence. Since then, everyone has been worried about job stability as well as sales are dipping too.

Pros

Lunch and Learns, Book of the Quarters, Amazing Summer Vision Conferences, quarterly activities, one a week Motivation meetings with management, Ability to move from department to department if opening does exist, pantry, game rooms

Cons

New Ownership, bad management, no trust, no transparency, values are no longer actually followed, money is more important than the kids they supposedly serve, don't speak up or you are a "troublemaker", putting out product not fully tested, quality no longer wanted, architects with no experience planning products that do not work, execs that are out of touch with employees, have a great time working has been replaced with "slave labor" mentality.
