Pros

Remote work. Colleagues are hardworking and intelligent.

Cons

I recently left teaching and thought this would be a great opportunity. It was not. Everybody is miserable, over-worked and every meeting with leadership adds more frustration. We do not receive raises at all. Nobody does but the company likes to talk about their growth and new purchases. Bonus is like $1,000.

Pros

Was great before the hostile takeover by Edgenuity. Great culture with mission minded people. Loved my job until the gestapo came to rule.

Cons

Horrible culture now. Edgenuity had reputation issues so the parent company’s CEO decided to use Imagine Learning’s good reputation and merge the company, but got rid of Imagine Learning’s leadership and let some old school miserable people from Edgenuity run the company who rule by fear and an overinflated sense of themselves. They lost some top notch people who truly cared about serving educators and students and are now left with people solely focused on dollars. They have ruined this good company. The CEO only cares about buying enough companies & merging them together to create the biggest EdTech company, while losing the quality Imagine Learning was previously known for.

Toxic wasteland of times gone by

Pros

The pay and benefits are decent, but they're not really competitive.

Cons

Imagine Learning used to be the best company I'd ever worked for. However, under the direction of the petty and ignorant Jonathan Grayer, the company has degraded quickly. The company now engages in illegal and unethical practices, and management treats employees horribly. Gone are the days where it felt like your contribution mattered. Gone are the days where management cared about you as an individual. Now they are just another corporation run by greed with little to no respect for the individual. It's sad to see such a great company fall so far.
