Pros

Original products and amazingly dedicated field employees.

Cons

Promotions based on friendships, religion and willingness to say yes to everything even when its wrong. The field has lost their voice and we are losing some of the greatest talent this company has ever had. They want to spend busy time on counting activities and micromanaging instead of fixing the programs and giving the field the resources they need and leaders who can help them because they bring value to our customers.

Thank you for your review and for acknowledging our dedicated field employees. We understand that the changes we’ve been through over the past months have been a lot to adjust to. Having said that, we are absolutely dedicated to supporting all of our team members including our sales team. As you know, our Executive Leadership has recently shifted attention and support to our field team because we know these are challenging times. We also want to assure you that we regularly hire and promote employees at all levels based on experience and talent because we want the best people working on our team. Please feel free to make an appointment with me (the CEO) to discuss any of your concerns and ideas. I welcome the feedback especially when it helps Imagine Learning become the best we can be. Thank you for all you do to make Imagine Learning a great place to work.

Pros

Work can be rewarding and team members are often very kind and easygoing - Many remote opportunities and work-life balance is better than that of other companies I've worked for. I have been hearing word of RTO policies coming into place for those near headquarters, though.

Cons

eammates and company at large are often feeling on thin ice after 4 rounds of layoffs in 1.5 years. Our team has not had bonuses or raises in 2 years (though apparently we're getting them this year). Lots of shifting priorities. Lots of focus on AI, which often lessens product integrity. Many on my team often feel a lack of direction and have been left to steer their own ship. Despite significant personal growth in the company and increase in responsibility, I have been met with consistent push back for compensation increases or title changes. All this said I wouldn't say the job is bad or the company is something to avoid, just know it's a stepping stone for most and because of that they struggle to retain talent. Laying off talented team members doesn't help either...

Pros

Nothing but growth for years, opening up opportunities and it was exciting!

Cons

Where do I start? The leadership in the Instructional Services department is juvenile, emotionally stunted, reactionary, dishonest, and paranoid. The pay is very low, compared to other departments and especially compared to competitors. Processes are redundant, based on "the way we've always done it" and not reality based. If you are going to work here, CYA... get good at the blame game.
