Pros

-Peculiar but typically pleasant students -Beautiful Campus -Generally nice community environment -Tradition oriented (if you like traditions) -Some supportive and invested faculty

Cons

- Top heavy salary wise - Not very diverse - Lacks innovation - Minimal building space - Over protective of land - Core values are not practiced by upper administration - Some Secretive and self fulfilling administration - Not open to ideas and true calculated risk taking - A component of fear can be traced in top down communication - Protective of non effective and belligerent employees (example Director of Library) - Low pay for a lot of work - Maintains many uniformed professional staff - Operates with impracticality

Pros

Nice people to work with, people care about the students here. Students like the environment, it's a beautiful campus. Not much work is required to keep your job - expectations are low. There's an underlying sense of community.

Cons

There is no desire to work hard to change. At times it feels like the term "Tradition" is used as an excuse for not moving forward. Changes that are being made are small, and may be too little too late. I'm truly not sure what the future holds for Immaculata, if it will even be here to celebrate it's 100th Anniversary in 2020.

Pros

Pretty campus, nice co-workers, pleasant students

Cons

Unqualified, intellectually stagnant management from deans up. Clinging to "but this is how we'vev always done it." Very committed to promoting from within based on popularity rather than ability or qualifications. Only promote "yes" people. Lousy benefits. Rely on nursing RN to BSN to keep the rest of school financially operational.
