-Executive leadership lacks depth of vision and experience -Excessive hiring from within stymies needed change -Sponsoring religious order lacks qualifications to run a 21st century university -Low faculty and staff morale -Not sure of its identity -Has the feel of a high school

Pros

Small school environment - faculty, staff, and admin are all friendly and know one another well. Significant room for improvement on multiple levels including facilities, number and quality of faculty/staff, quality of academic programs, classroom resources, etc.

Cons

Salaries are low and turnover is high. The buildings are out-dated, and there is little investment in resources to support classroom education. Minimal access for the handicapped. Hasn't met enrollment goals in several years, which has resulted in significant cut-backs and unstable / highly uncertain environment.
