Pros

Flexible hours. Cool people to work with and the free food isn’t a bad perk. Other than that not great

Cons

Made out to be way better than it is. Try to make it seem so great but when you step back and look at it the job is awful. Pays better than other fast food though.

Pros

Encourages associates to work hard with care and understanding. Great pay, and non toxic environment.

Cons

After level 5 the job becomes a bit monotonous and tiresome. You need to have energy every shift to excel at In N Out. If you are having a hard day before hand then your shift will be very difficult.

Pros

-Above minimum wage pay ($16+) -Lots of opportunities to get raises as you level up (which could take time depending on the store) -Full time/Part time benefits -Free burger and fries each shift -Flexible (good for college students)- my manager was very accommodating with my school schedule and requested time off -Sick hours and vacation hours are separate -Managers aren’t hired externally. Everyone is “leveled up” towards being a cook and some get promoted to level 7 which is pre-management or like a supervisor type of role. There is a lot of room to grow and managers make a lot of money -Made life long friends through the company

Cons

(Applies only to some stores) -Stores in certain areas/cities are definitely busier than others. You should familiarize yourself with the one you’re applying to is in because it can get pretty stressful as a new hire, so prepare yourself! -Work environment can be toxic -Some managers play favorites which can either make your shift easy or more difficult than it needs to be -Hierarchy between levels -Repetitive movements. Make sure to do your pre-shift stretches and micro stretches throughout the shift because it really takes a toll over the years especially in the wrists
