Pros

Pros include the overall work culture at InBloom! I felt (initially) very supported as a newer BCBA when first starting off. I enjoyed all my coworkers, and the local management team was approachable, funny, and innovative. Other pros include being able to have autonomy over your schedule as a BCBA and flex as needed. I also enjoyed forming relationships with all the families. Work/Life balance, people and culture were prioritized throughout my time at InBloom!

Cons

All the cons of this company will be difficult to put into concise words, however I will attempt. First of all, provide your staff with HIPAA compliant devices. All staff members, BCBAS and RBTs are expected to use their own personal devices. If a client breaks our device during session will InBloom reimburse? Of course not! That of course is aside from the HIPAA violations of having client information on our personal devices. Second, the main administrative team in Florida plays ignorant OFTEN. Emails, paper trails and screenshots have been provided, and they still act as though they were not informed of concerns and feedback given at local levels. This feedback has ranged from minimal concerns about the clinics (plumbing issues, lack of materials), to larger issues regarding the safety and well being of staff surrounding challenging behaviors (RBTs being physically hurt and unable to safely execute sessions). InBloom is incredibly cheap, and will cut any and all corners until a client family provides a threat, it's a lawsuit waiting to happen, or enough staff leave. Lastly, although there are plenty more cons, pay your BCBAs a competitive wage. Entry level BCBA's elsewhere make what SENIOR BCBA's make at InBloom. At a certain point, the compensation was insulting.

Pros

- The only good thing I can think of is our OMs (very good, caring people) - But with horrible upper management there's not much they can do to fix the issues this company has

Cons

- RBTs are not paid if a client cancels (they all have a hard time paying their bills) - There were some weeks I only made 200$ as an RBT. Ridiculous. - Unethical. They care more about billing insurance than they do about the clients. Very sad. - CHEAP. So cheap. - There's basically no PTO or sick time. We work with kids so obviously we will get sick.... at work..... and they don't care or even act like they will work on fixing the sick time issue. It's weird how little they listen to our concerns. - I had never looked into other ABA companies and when I started to, I quickly realized how behind this company is. There are companies out there that will actually care about you as a person and Inbloom is not that place. - We had to use personal laptops and phones. Oh by the way if a client breaks your phone or laptop they don't pay for it :) - I had no idea who did what job-wise. Every one is scrambling all the time to get things done. Again, weird. - I feel bad for the clients and parents - Pay is way lower than other companies for BCBAs and again, rbts are not guaranteed hours

Pros

Working with most of the most sweetest children

Cons

Lack of support, employees are treated like numbers and upper management doesnt care about anyone below their pay grade. Basic office stock of items are not available and upper management complains that staff should stop over using toilet paper, paper towels, forks ( forcing clients to eat with their hands)...the list goes on.
