All the cons of this company will be difficult to put into concise words, however I will attempt. First of all, provide your staff with HIPAA compliant devices. All staff members, BCBAS and RBTs are expected to use their own personal devices. If a client breaks our device during session will InBloom reimburse? Of course not! That of course is aside from the HIPAA violations of having client information on our personal devices. Second, the main administrative team in Florida plays ignorant OFTEN. Emails, paper trails and screenshots have been provided, and they still act as though they were not informed of concerns and feedback given at local levels. This feedback has ranged from minimal concerns about the clinics (plumbing issues, lack of materials), to larger issues regarding the safety and well being of staff surrounding challenging behaviors (RBTs being physically hurt and unable to safely execute sessions). InBloom is incredibly cheap, and will cut any and all corners until a client family provides a threat, it's a lawsuit waiting to happen, or enough staff leave. Lastly, although there are plenty more cons, pay your BCBAs a competitive wage. Entry level BCBA's elsewhere make what SENIOR BCBA's make at InBloom. At a certain point, the compensation was insulting.
