Pros

collaborative team, ability to work remote/hybrid, mission driven organization

Cons

fast paced (not a bad thing but nice to have an occasional breather); more events where we can meet colleagues from across the country, more quality swag - I want to advertise our company in apparel form :-)

We are prioritizing management development as a key part of our talent investments - including launching a company-wide, revamped Manager Training this year. Your feedback helps in confirming our responsibility in coaching managers on how best to manage the change required to raise the standard of healthcare.

Pros

IH has a strong vision. IH is in an innovative industry. Overall executive leadership has clear vision.

Cons

There's no pay transparency for leadership roles. You're often tasked with more responsibilities but promotions are hard to come by. It's not uncommon to be given expanded responsibilities but no pay increases beyond the standard annual performance review that doesn't even cover inflation when it is at a reasonable rate - much less with this high inflation rate. Leadership is highly interested in cutting costs which often comes at the peril of employees/member experience. They provide many stock options but that is not really helpful if you're unable to afford to buy those stocks given the meager pay raises. There's been a series of layoffs during my tenure and those aren't generally handled very well.

Thank you for taking the time to share your insights with us. We are diligently working on our pay transparency approach, including manager training and FAQs. This work has been underway since the fall and will be communicated more broadly in the coming months. If you have any questions in the meantime, your Talent Partner will be able to help.
