Pros

They do offer amazing benefits and probably one of the best places I have worked at that care for their employees well being...but that doesn't pay my bills. Very flexible with time off.

Cons

With the incredible growth this company has gained over the past year I feel like they just hired and promoted up not so qualified employees. Seniority is greatly rewarded with promotions but if you were hired after the mass of hiring you can forget about the so told easy to move up. There isn't enough opportunities now for personal development despite your prior work experience and education. RS roles to the care team are too facilitated, greatly unappreciated, and deserve better pay for the amount of work load they have in comparison to other roles.

I was glad to read that you appreciate the many perks Grand Rounds has to offer, but disappointed that you feel we overemphasize seniority. While seniority in terms of tenure plays a role in helping to master the elements that are important to advancement at Grand Rounds -- putting patients first, delivering high quality and timely results, collaborating well with team members, demonstrating competencies, etc. -- it's not an explicit consideration when considering opportunities for team members. I'd love to hear from you ideas you have on how we can better communicate a clear understanding of promotion rationale. Let me know if you'd like to grab some time together. --Danielle Snow, SVP Patient Care

Pros

Grand Rounds prioritizes its people and it shows. The leadership team has created a welcoming, inclusive environment where people are set up to do their best work. You'll meet a fun, hard working and humble group of people at Grand Rounds. This is the key to the company's success: putting its people first.

Cons

Need to balance execution with process in order to build the infrastructure to scale. This is underway and is very important.

Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you're finding inspiration in the work you're doing at Grand Rounds. I like your play on our value with "putting people first" -- how better to ensure that our patients come first than to do the same with the people who serve them (both directly and indirectly)? If ever you want to get together and brainstorm how best to preserve and nurture our culture while we scale/build process, I'd welcome the opportunity.
