Pros

- The company had one of the best company cultures, before it rebranded and merged with two less-mature companies (Included Health and Grand Rounds Health) - The maturity of the existing systems from Doctor On Demand were supreme - and the staff cared deeply for the purpose of them being high quality.

Cons

- Your voice no longer matters, everything is driven top-down - Engineering has turned into a sweat shop. Literally, people are spending evenings and weekends trying to smash together multiple applications to appease investors. - The company had zero input into the direction into the company, a stark contrast from where the company started off at (with being Doctor On Demand). - Present technology leadership refuses to connect with the ground level engineering staff - despite being given the input that they need to do it by their own direct reports. - The CEO is either totally ignorant and has no idea what is going on behind the scenes, or is 100% aware and is knowingly burning people out. - This new branding the company took on now tries to manipulate people into thinking "Included Health" means that they will be included. The sad part is that they can't even include their own employees and teams, so how can they include you as a recipient of their services? - They overly commit to new dealings and rush engineering to deliver, so they won't get brought into court for failed obligations the sales team committed to.

Pros

The paychecks did not bounce.

Cons

Just laid-off 6% of staff. For the unlucky that are still there, they removed 401k matching. Almost all of the legacy Doctor on Demand and legacy IncludedHelath employees were cut today. All that remains is a skeleton crew of Grand Rounds employees. Also closing two offices and reducing the size of the remaining ones. The entire QA team was cut. The entire Health Plan Go To Market Team (Sales and Sales Support) was cut. They have a 'house of cards' product built on quick sand in an earthquake zone.

Pros

remote work, free insurance (high deductible plan) and healthcare through IH

Cons

flexibility was a plus but it is trending towards less flexibility. It seems they are working towards screen monitoring. Management is AWFUL. Promotions are not offered to everyone. They are handed out to those hand picked by their friends. They choose "who stays on the bus." They say one thing and do another. They sell services that have not been developed or tested and then are grasping at straws to get the programs going. Often times there is little to no training for staff on these changes. Managers offer "to support you" but in true IH fashion, this is just lip service. If you are a trial by fire kind of person and don't mind ridicule and micromanagement, this place is for you.
