Pros

-- convenient to transportation -- decent benefits including PTO, health insurance -- committed to diversity

Cons

-- very little promotion from within -- most positions have limited or non-existing career path -- rampant nepotisn -- salaries are not competitive -- full of micro-managers -- poor work/life balance

Pros

The ONLY good thing about this place were their health insurance benefits but of course they would have that because they're a health insurance company

Cons

Working in the call center was horrible. 90% of the people there lacked professionalism. This includes supervisors and management who would curse on the floor. Supervisor/ management do a very poor job at resolving issues. Half of them I'm not sure how they became supervisors based on their lack of knowledge. They gave you a lot of vacation days but you have to accrue them. Also if your sick or have a family emergency they don't care, it still counts as an occurrence. I would say that 85% of the people working in the call center are miserable and hated the job. I am soooo glad I no longer work there.

Pros

Benefits was good, I worked at IBC for 5 years, it was a great company at first until it merged. Good experience.

Cons

Company is constantly laying off employees, there is not stability or opportunity for advancement. Management is horrible and need to go.
